Hillary Scott reminisced on her wedding day as she shared a heartfelt anniversary tribute to husband Chris Tyrrell on Wednesday (January 7).
Scott and Tyrrell got married in on January 7, 2012. A rep for Lady A confirmed to PEOPLE at the time that the bride and groom tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with family and close friends in Upstate New York. Tyrrell, a drummer, proposed over Fourth of July weekend in East Tennessee. Scott said on the couple’s 14th wedding anniversary on Wednesday that it’s “my favorite number.”
The Lady A star posted a few wedding photos on Instagram, and wrote a prayer in her caption: “God, I ask for your covering, wisdom and provision over another year married to my best friend. Help us to enjoy the few moments of alone time (life with 4 kids, ya know?!), but even more Lord remind us to SAVOR each other, our sweet daughters, and this life that you have given us to build together. These sacred gifts. Our heart yearns to steward well what YOU have entrusted us with.
“Now [Chris Tyrrell] let’s go eat lunch at our favorite place with our newest little angel baby before carpool line, what do ya say?”
Scott and Tyrrell welcomed Baby No. 4, daughter Selah Jean, in July 2025. They were “over the moon.” Selah Jean joined big sisters Eisele Kaye, 12, and twins Betsy and Emory, who turn 8 this month. Scott was one of several country artists to welcome a baby into the family in 2025, along with Lady A bandmate Charles Kelley, Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis and more.
