Carrie Underwood shared photos of a wardrobe piece she created herself.
The eight-time Grammy winner has recently shared glimpses of a new pastime, crocheting, on Instagram. Underwood’s latest project is a crocheted, tomato-patterned top. She paired it with jeans and red sneakers on the American Idol set on Sunday (May 4).
“Got to wear my tomato top yesterday to the Idol set! I’m so happy how it turned out. ❤️ I just kept it really simple and added a ruffle at the bottom. Now what should I make?” Underwood wrote in her caption as she posted a few photos on Instagram on Monday (May 5).
Underwood made her highly-anticipated debut as a judge on American Idol this season, two decades after winning the show’s fourth season in 2005. The Denim & Rhinestones superstar has made a few nostalgic nods throughout the current season, including when she proved her 2005 finale dress “still fits,” re-created an iconic performance from her time on the show, shared what she remembers about her experience as a contestant in the Idol To Icon online series and more. Underwood joins judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, and reunites with longtime host Ryan Seacrest. This season also includes first-ever artist in residence Jelly Roll.
