AN NFL Legend has died suddenly, Second heartbreaking Ravens death today

NFL legend Tony Siragusa has died way too young at 55 years old. The news is breaking late this afternoon after being shared by a former teammate, Jamal Lewis, and reported and confirmed by TMZ Sports.

"It's a sad day to be a Raven I must say," the ex-running back said on Wednesday.

A cause of death for the former defensive lineman has not yet been revealed.

TMZ is also reporting "Playing alongside Ray LewisRod Woodson and Adalius Thomas, Siragusa -- nicknamed "Goose" -- helped the Ravens defense set the record for fewest points allowed in a regular season on their way to winning a title.

In his 12 years in the league, he compiled 22 sacks and 564 combined tackles.

Following his playing career, Siragusa gained national fame for his role as an NFL sideline reporter and analyst for Fox. He made audiences laugh with his unique style and knowledge of the game"

News of the passing of Siragusa follows just hours after learning of the news from the Baltimore Ravens that outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson has died at the age of 26, the team announced in an official statement shared on its verified Twitter account Wednesday (June 22).

"We are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson," the team said in a statement. "He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon's family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon."

The Ravens didn't mention a cause of death in their announcement on Wednesday.

Ferguson was selected by Baltimore at No. 85 overall in the third-round of the 2019 NFL Draft and had participated in all of the Ravens' practices this offseason prior to his death.

Like Jamal Lewis said "It's a sad day to be a Raven I must say," Prayers for all of Ravensnation. - Michael J
