Why Brad Paisley Is Already Counting Down The Days To Christmas

Brad Paisley debuted an upbeat new holiday anthem as he counts down the days until Christmas.

Paisley’s “Counting Down The Days” arrived on Wednesday (September 17), fewer than 100 days before Christmas Day. The song, which Paisley wrote with Chris Dubois, will serve as the official anthem of the 16th annual, season-long Countdown to Christmas movie event on the Hallmark Channel, per a press release announcing the Grand Ole Opry member's newest single.

The release also notes that Paisley and Dubois wrote two other holiday songs for the new original movie, A Grand Ole Opry Christmas. Nikki DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha will star in the film, featuring an appearance by Paisley and others with connections to the historic Opry and country music. A Grand Ole Opry Christmas is set to premiere on Saturday, November 29. at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel, and will be available to stream the following day on Hallmark+, the release states. Hallmark and Paisley also revealed the Countdown to Christmas lineup on Wednesday.
