Blake Shelton shared a sweet birthday tribute to his wife, powerhouse singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani, who turns 55 on Thursday (October 3).
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite girl.. my pretty girl [Gwen Stefani]!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!” Shelton wrote in his caption on Instagram as he shared a few photos with Stefani.
The husband and wife duo met on the set of The Voice in 2014. The two coaches confirmed their budding relationship the following year, announced their engagement in 2020, and got married in July 2021. Shelton and Stefani tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Shelton’s stunning ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Over the years, Shelton and Stefani have teamed up on sevral romantic duets, including “Happy Anywhere,” “Nobody But You” and “Purple Irises,” which is one of 10 tracks appearing on Stefani’s upcoming album, Bouquet. Stefani has since released the album’s opening track, “Somebody Else’s,” and delivered the first live performance at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival last month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“This is my favorite day of the year so far,” Shelton said in a video he posted to Instagram when Stefani released “Somebody Else’s.” “My favorite all-time songwriter, my favorite all-time singer, favorite all-time No. 1 human being I ever met in my life, Gwen Stefani, released her new single, ‘Somebody Else’s.’ And holy sh*t. It’s so good. Please go listen to it.”
Bouquet will make its debut on November 15.
