Gourd and Preston are two brown tabby cats that love little more than cuddling up and having a good snooze. At roughly 8 years old for Gourd, and 10 years for Preston, these two are the last of the group fondly referred to by shelter staff as "The Crunchies", a gaggle of 14 senior cats who were recovered from a home after their former owner passed away. Over the last 630 days, the others have found their homes, but Gourd and Preston are still waiting. Both are affectionate to people and enjoy interaction (even if their expressions seem less than enthusiastic, it's likely just because Gourd's tongue is always sticking out comically), but are just as happy to relax quietly together, enjoying a comfy retirement. If you are interested in two, sweet senior ladies, Gourd and Preston are your golden girls!
